Tomorrow marks the first day of the 2015 Christmas open house. We have worked for days, weeks, and months on homemade items in order to have a variety of items for everyone. Not only will we have our famous pottery, we will also have Sandey's homemade caramels, marshmallows, and anise candy. We have a variety of Christmas household items and décor including santa and snowmen items (new, homemade and vintage), aprons, table runners, stocking stuffers, TONS of Christmas tree ornaments of different themes, etc. We also have other items available for unique gifts such as adult, baby, and toddler hair accessories, hand knit scarves, and hand knit hats. If you are heading to an ugly Christmas sweater party we have them too. We also have lots of antique/vintage Christmas items such as tablecloths, candy containers, and ornaments. This year we will have another fundraiser where we will offer not only 1, not two, but 3 vintage pieces. Take a pic of your pottery and see if we have the piece that you are missing! As always, we keep our prices low and affordable so that you can bring little cash and still take something home.

Emily Jackson
I am the youngest of the Jackson's. I grew up antiquing with my parents at birth to this very day. There wasn't a week that would go by where I wasn't at an auction, estate sale, yard sale, flea market or a buying trip. I dabbled at nursing (still do some) for awhile, but when my dad became ill in 2012 I began to help with the shop and open houses more often and remembered how much fun it was to be a part of the antiquing business. I currently have been working at partnering at the shop with my parents continuing to learn more and more each day. Soon I will be learning how to make the pottery from my dads hand made molds so I can help him out in the future. I plan to continue to mentor with my parents to learn more from them and add additional knowledge that I have to hopefully see the business grow. My parents and myself value our customers and have made many lifelong friends from this business. It is a true love! ArchivesCategories |
